Last updated: 12 September 2026. The rules that apply when you plan and book with Turiekart.
By enquiring or booking with Turiekart you agree to these terms. Prices on the site are indicative until confirmed in writing (WhatsApp/email) with inclusions, dates and payment schedule.
1. Quotes & bookings
1.1 Site prices are starting prices per person on twin-sharing (min 2 travellers) unless stated. Final quote depends on dates, hotel tier, transport and group size.
1.2 A booking is confirmed only after advance payment and written confirmation (voucher/itinerary) from us.
1.3 Day plans may shift due to weather, road closures, permits or operator changes — we will offer the closest workable alternative.
2. Payments
2.1 Standard schedule: 30–50% advance to lock dates, balance 15–21 days before departure (or as stated in your quote). Peak-season/trek/international trips may need higher advance.
2.2 Pay only to the official UPI/bank details in your invoice. We never ask for card OTPs or screen-share payments.
2.3 Receipts are shared for every payment. Package cost excludes personal expenses, lunches/dinners (unless listed), insurance, visas, tips and anything marked "excluded".
3. Traveller responsibilities
Valid government ID for every traveller, correct names/ages at booking, fitness for treks/activities you choose, and respect for local rules, hotels and fellow travellers. Intoxication, unsafe behaviour or illegal activity can end services without refund.
4. Changes, force majeure & liability
Date or hotel changes after confirmation depend on partner availability and may carry charges (see Cancellation & Refunds). We are not liable for delays, losses or extra costs from events beyond our control — weather, natural events, strikes, political unrest, health emergencies or third-party (airline/hotel/operator) failures — beyond helping you re-plan. Our total liability per booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking.
5. Photos, conduct & governing terms
We may request trip photos for our journal/socials — shared only with your permission. Disputes are governed by the laws of India; courts at Nadia, West Bengal have jurisdiction.
