Turiekart ("we", "us") plans curated trips over WhatsApp-first conversations. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. What we collect

You share directly: name, phone number, email, destination preferences, travel dates, group size, budget, and any notes you send via forms, WhatsApp, email or phone.

Booking details: traveller names, ages (for trek/activity suitability), ID details only when a hotel, airline or activity operator requires them.

Automatic: basic anonymous site usage (pages visited) via analytics. No accounts, no passwords stored on this site.

2. How we use it

To respond to enquiries, prepare itineraries and quotes, confirm availability with stays/transport/activity partners, provide on-trip support, and improve our packages. We do not sell your data or run ads on it.

3. Sharing

We share only what is needed to fulfil your trip: hotels, transporters, trek/activity operators and payment providers. They handle your details under their own policies. WhatsApp/Meta processes chats under its own privacy policy when you message us there.

4. Retention

Enquiry chats and quotes are kept up to 24 months for reference and repeat trips. Booking records (invoices, vouchers) are kept up to 8 years for tax/accounting. Ask us to delete enquiry data anytime — booking records may need to be retained by law.

5. Your rights

Ask for a copy, correction or deletion of your data, or opt out of follow-ups, by messaging contact or hello@turiekart.com. We reply within 7 working days.

6. Security & children

We limit access to trip data to staff who need it. No method is 100% secure over messaging apps — avoid sending sensitive IDs until asked for a confirmed booking. Our trips are booked by adults (18+); children's details are given only by a parent/guardian for travel.
